Cochabamba (Encuentro de Intercambio de Experiencias de la niñez y adolescencia a través del Arte)

my friend Evan from La Paz hooked me up with Magda from UNICEF here in Cochabamba, who was organizing an interesting event with kids. the event was very interactive and aimed at the exchange of experiences among the children, trough videos, talk but also theatre, dance etc. The kids really had fun and there were some quite emotional moments when people broke out in tears – especially when the youngsters from the juvenile detention center sung their songs to “mother” and “father”. “Comenzó I Encuentro de Intercambio de Experiencias a través del Arte

Cochabamba vive desde ayer el I Encuentro de Intercambio de Experiencias de la Niñez y la Adolescencia rural-urbana a través del Arte. El evento esta organizado por Unicef, el proyecto mARTadero y el Nodo Asociativo para el Desarrollo de las Artes (N.A.D.A) y la compañía “A puerta Cerrada”- teatro danza.
Este evento que fue inaugurado ayer, contó con la presencia de las defensorías de los municipios de Tiraque, Cliza, Sicaya y Capinota, representantes de Servicios Departamentales de Cochabamba y adolescentes y responsables del Centro de Jóvenes Infractores de Cochabamba. …”
