(Santa Cruz) – Villa Chapari – Cochabamba

A beautiful route which i undertook with a couple i met at the hotel in Villa Tunari – Patrizia and Thomas. A nice copule from Switzerland, nice change to have someone to talk to in the car for once. I hope I didn’t blast their ears ;-)

Villa Chapari has a somewhat “tropical” feel to it. there is an orchid park nearby which we visited before heading off towards cochabamba where Patrizia and Thomas were expected for a wedding. of course i took loooads of photos (see at the end of this post).

the road to cochabamba is good, a few patches of cobblestone or dirt track, but mainly a fine road leading up to 3200 meters and then a bit down again to cochabamba which is said to be at 2800 meters above sea level (and Villa Tunari around 400 meters a s l).
